COMPANY PORTRAIT: Ludwig van Beethoven looks somewhat grimly from the windowsill into the meeting room of the Ludwigshafen-based company Summit Research Labs Materials, or SRL Materials for short. The sculpture was made from plaster. The material is produced synthetically just a few hundred metres away.
